Thinking and Practice
In this session we were asked to explore ways to describe ourselves using typography. Given my silly nature I couldn't help but go down a weird route with this. I began to think of different ways I could approach the brief which was to create type using 'I am...' . I began exploring what to place after 'I am' and came up with ideas.
'I am LMAO'
'I am small'
'I am round'
'I am not drunk'
Until I finally chose to stick to my final one. 'I am British'. Given my heritage and ethnicity I thought it would be interesting to explore both sides of well what makes me, hence, I decided to explore language Urdu and English and try to manipulate and merge it in an understandable way.
