3D Camera

In the following lesson we were introduced to 3D camera shooting and roll out effect, we were meant to do a 10 second video but I decided to have a narrative. It was really more of a challenge to myself if I can produce an full story in the lesson and I did manage granted a few tweaks still needed. The story was simple, a boy is out with his parents and then the crowd makes him lose track of them and he has to find a way home by himself, simple right? Animating it not so much. So because this was a 3D project cameras played an essential role in creating the emotions and I did an ok job with that. After creating the characters and backgrounds in illustrator I imported them into after effects where I played with the camera angles and character movements. One commented how my animating made them think of the Loyds Banking adverts which I thought was pretty cool. A ll in all I was pretty happy with what I came up with in the time limit.
