Cartoon Network (The Changes from my Youthful Days)

Back in the day around early 2000 this was the logo that greeted me every morning before I left for school but with time it has changed and along with it the programming style as well. At first I didn't really think much of it but I recently decided to watch the original teen titans when I found there was a reformatted version of it playing on the screens now. As a child I adored the show and just like any other kid had my own idols within it.

The original series used marvel art style with a Japanese mix. It was a mix of emotions, humour and life lessons which drew me into the series, however, the rebooted version is far from it.

The rebooted series is almost like a parody to the original series, taking out the nitty gritty details of each characters personality and using it as humour trigger. Life lessons are far from the series as well, it actually does the opposite in many occasions and as much as it makes me laugh at times it does make me wonder why cartoon network has changed so much its style, is it progression? or are the children of today far too mature to relate to the content published in the early 2000? In any case Cartoon network is still a success and has managed to obtain young adults (like myself) as an audience.
